Hello! Welcome to Walbridge Surveyors! We are happy to help you with all your surveying needs. I would like to tell you a little about the process of getting a survey. First, we need to examine the record documents for your parcel and the adjoining properties, and research information in our files to understand the parcel and how it relates to your neighbors.
We then visit the site and estimate the amount of work the job entails. After that, we begin our field work to compare the physical location of corners to the record descriptions. This is done with a crew of usually two or three people.
Using various instruments, they survey the property, meaning they measure and document all the details; locating the property boundaries, where structures lie within those boundaries, where fences, driveways, easements exist, among many other things.
Once the crews are finished, they bring all the information back to the office to the drafters. The drafters then convert the information into a map in CAD format. This entire process, including a completed map, is what we call a survey. Please explore the rest of our website to learn more about Walbridge Surveyors and the services we provide!
