George Walbridge Surveyors, PC is the East End’s largest land surveying and land planning company. Mr. Walbridge first established his company in 1901 in the Long Island town of Babylon. After coming to the area in 1970 to survey the Bell Estate, the company settled in East Hampton. Since that time, Walbridge Surveyors has been serving clients throughout East Hampton and Southampton.
To the benefit of their clientele, George Walbridge Surveyors has the records of former surveyors of the East End; Geoffrey Bass, Wallace Halsey, Thomas Ringwoods. N.N. Tiffany, John Whitby and Melvin Wood. The licensed land surveyors within the company are members of many national as well as state professional associations. Additionally, the Company maintains professional liability insurance in the amount of $2 million.

Since that time, Walbridge Surveyors has been serving clients in The Hamptons, from Montauk to East Hampton to Southampton.
Membership and Professional Associations
Walbridge's Licensed Land Surveyors are members of the New York State Association of Professional Land Surveyors, Nassau-Suffolk Civil Engineers, New York State Association of Floodplain and Stormwater Managers, and the Association of State Floodplain Managers.
Historical Records
Over the years Walbridge Surveyors aquired the records of older surveying companies including Geoffrey Bass, Wallace Halsey, Thomas Ringwoods, N. N. Tiffany, John Whitby, and Melvin Wood.

Our Team
David A. Weaver is a Licensed Land Surveyor and President of Walbridge Surveyors, PC. He began working at Walbridge in 1968. After receiving his surveying license in 1989, he became partner in the company, following in the footsteps of his father and grandfather, both former partners in the Walbridge company. Dave is a member of Nassau-Suffolk Civil Engineers and a member of the New York Association of Professional Land Surveyors and a member of the National Society of Professional Surveyors. Dave has testified in numerous land use court cases as an expert witness. Dave has been a member of the East Hampton Volunteer Ambulance for over 25 years.
Timothy C. Miller is a Licensed Land Surveyor and a Certified Floodplain Manager. He graduated from SUNY New Paltz in 1977 with a Bachelors Degree in Environmental Science. Tim began working with Walbridge in 1978 and upon obtaining his surveying license in 1989, became a partner in the Company. In 2005, Tim took advantage of the opportunity to pursue Certification as a Floodplain Manager to increase the professional services Walbridge can offer its clientele. Tim is a member of the New York State Association of Floodplain and Stormwater Managers and the Association of State Floodplain Managers. Tim has also chosen to give to the community as a 30 year member of the Springs Volunteer Fire Department.
Daniel A. Weaver, LS is a licensed land surveyor since 2010. He began working part time in 1993 and full time in 2000 and became a partner with George Walbridge Surveyors, PC in 2017. Dan is a 4th Generation Land Surveyor, Member and treasurer of Nassau Suffolk Civil Engineers, member of New York State Association of Professional Land Surveyors and National Society of Professional Surveyors. Dan has experience in emerging survey techniques such as 3D laser scanning and Drone/UAV aerial mapping as well as traditional types of surveying.
